Eating fruits and veggies is great for our health! It’s recommended that half of every meal should be a fruit or vegetable, but did you know that the colors of produce indicate different nutrient profiles with specific health benefits? Adding colorful foods to your diet can be an easy way to maximize your nutrition and get a full range of vitamins and minerals your body needs. That's why as part of National Fruits & Veggies Month, we challenge you to eat a rainbow of colors!
To join our Color Challenge, download our Y app and click on the Challenges tile. Then, try to eat five different colored fruits and veggies a day (red, orange/yellow, green, blue/purple, white). Log each color you eat as a workout in the app.
Everyone who participates will be entered into a drawing for a FREE 1-on-1 nutrition coaching session.
